The climate is temperate and maritime and in Spring heavy rainfall and grey skies are common. Changes in the weather can be quick, facilitated by the flatness of the land. April and May are the driest months; that is when the flowers take over the landscape.
A cloakroom is available during the registration opening hours.

The Oral Reconstruction Global Symposium is CE accredited. Participants will be credited with 12 credit hours for the main program. You will receive additional credits for attending one of the workshops.
All official prices are indicated in Euro (€). The official currency in the Netherlands is EURO (€). All major credit cards are accepted in most hotels, restaurants and shops.
The electrical current in the Netherlands is 220 volts AC, 50Hz. The sockets in the wall require plugs with two narrow cylindrical prongs (also called type F).

The industrial exhibition is located in immediate vicinity to symposium activities such as lecture hall, poster exhibition and catering areas. Companies are given ample opportunity to display their latest products, services and technical innovations.
The symposium organizers cannot accept liability for personal injuries sustained, or for loss or damage of property belonging to symposium participants, either during, or as a result of the meeting. Please check the validity of your own insurance.
The organizers will be pleased to send a letter of invitation to any individual requesting one, once their registration fee has been received. It is to be understood that such an invitation is intended to help potential participants obtaining a visa. It is not a commitment on the part of the symposium to provide any financial support. You may request such a letter during the online registration or from the congress secretariat at email@example.com.
The official symposium language is English. Simultaneous translation during the main program will be provided for the following languages: German, French, Italian, Spanish, Japanese and Chinese. The national language of The Netherlands is Dutch. English is the most popular foreign language spoken and understood in Rotterdam.
Lunch on Friday and Saturday is included in the registration fee and is served in the exhibition area. Please refer to the “Program” for the times.
Scientists, dentists, and dental technicians are invited to submit their empirical/non-empirical original research results and/or case studies for the Oral Reconstruction Global Symposium poster competition. Posters can be submitted for the following categories:
1. Pre-clinical research
2. Clinical research (surgical and/or prosthetic)
3. Case report
The poster exhibition is open throughout the entire symposium. Authors can also apply for participation at the Poster Presentation Session on the main podium. The symposium fee of € 580 will be waived for each main author whose poster is accepted.
To register posters, please submit your Abstract online by 19 February 2018 (extended deadline). Poster Submission is closed!
Accredited journalists are welcome to cover the Oral Reconstruction Global Symposium 2018. Please use the online registration and upload your press identification.
Selected posters will be published in the International Poster Journal of Dentistry and Oral Medicine as well as on the event’s and the Oral Reconstruction Foundation’s website.
Full text of regular abstracts will be published 10 days prior to the event (16 April 2017) on the symposium website.

Rotterdam offers you plenty of good restaurants serving traditional dishes that guarantee the reputation of Dutch cuisine. There are also various restaurants that serve fine international cuisine.
There are many different shopping opportunities in Rotterdam. The opening hours differ per shop in the city center. Many shops open at 09.00h or at 09.30h. In general, shops open Monday to Saturday 10.00–18.00h. On Monday, they usually open only at 11.00h, but on Friday they are opened until 21.00h. On Sunday, the shops are open from 12.00–17.30h.
Symposium für das Zahnmedizinische Fachpersonal
The „Symposium für das Zahnmedizinische Fachperson“ will be held entirely in German and will not be translated.
Rotterdam is in the Central European Time Zone (CET). CET is 1 hour ahead of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT+1).
Tips are not obligatory, but if the service and food are excellent then it is normal to leave the waiter/waitress a tip of between 5% and 10% of the bill.
